General description of the collection: The Paul Alexa photograph collection consists of photographs that were taken by Eric O. Anderson (Gun #3, "A" Battery, 127th AAA Battalion) in 1944 when the Battalion occupied a position on the White Cliffs of Dover, England, as part of the defenses against the Flying Bomb, V-1. The film was developed after Anderson returned to the States. The film has had some water damage, thus the prints show water spots and some are not in good focus. These photos show the 127th AAA Battalion's area, personnel, and artillery pieces.
